10th FINA Short Course World Championships will be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 15–19 December 2010. All events will take place in the Dubai Sports Complex.
FINA announced on April 9, 2006 that Dubai had defeated the only other bidder Istanbul,
Turkey, 11 votes to 10, after a meeting of the FINA Bureau in Shanghai, China.

Federations, their athletes, coaches and officials participating in the 10th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) to be held in Dubai (UAE) from December 15-19, 2010.
The FINA Family will certainly have good reasons to be delighted. At the new and spectacular Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Sports Complex, our best swimmers will show to the world the beauty of our sport through their memorable performances.
Thanks to the devoted work of our 201 National Federations, to the FINA policy aiming a wider participation in its competitions and to the continuous support of our partners, sponsors and media representatives in the promotion of our championships, we are today able to create “Aquatic Festivals”. The 10th FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in Dubai will not be an exception: it will attract thousands of spectators and the images of the competition will reach hundreds of millions of TV viewers worldwide
